Mars and Saturn as seen 1/4/08

My most recent photos, and the first taken in 2008 and the first of planets in quite a while. Both taken with my Canon Digital Rebel SLR usng eyepiece projection - NOT the preferred webcam setup for planets - and stacking only 15 of the best. Not the best I've taken of these planets (see below) but the seeing was decent and some detail is discernable, not to mention Mars was cruising away from its last close approach for several years.
